As of April 1, Big Sky High School Principal Jennifer Courtney announced a major change to the parking lot regarding staff and students.
The space once used as the student parking lot will now be used only by staff and faculty.
This new policy has been passed due to the students’ lack of care for having a clean parking lot as well as a low number of students arriving to Big Sky next year, Courtney explained.
“With limited space in our staff parking lots, it only feels right that this change needs to happen,” Courtney said. “I feel that these students take something like the parking lot for granted and begin to treat the space as a requirement rather than a privilege.”
