Big Sky Drama had to cancel its production of “The Drowsy Chaperone” last minute due to a fire, school officials confirmed. No one was injured.
According to school officials, the fire broke out March 31, damaging multiple props on the set and resulting in the play being canceled. Ex-English teacher now play extra Aaron Fortner was quoted as saying, “We didn’t start the fire. It was always burning, since the world’s been turning.”
He continued, “We didn’t start the fire. No, we didn’t light it, but we tried to fight it.”
