On Friday, February 15, at 9:25 in the morning Big Sky went into a lock down drill between 5th & 6th periods.

Doors were closed tightly, and window blinds were pulled down. Lights shuts off, and voices kept down. It was quiet in the halls of Big Sky. For several minutes students sat in silence as the lock down drill began. By the time it had ended students would continue on with their classes.

“I think it went well. I think we have everyone responding  pretty appropriately and quickly to try and get into a close room as soon as possible,” said Officer Jeff Lloyd. “I believe we’ll work through any kinks that we get through student feedback.”

“I think it went pretty smoothly,” Senior Logan Dovico spoke. “I believe Big Sky should do more of these because we need more practice.”
