Sun Journal Reporters Take Home Six State Writing Awards

Eagles take Four Firsts and Two Seconds in AA Division

Six Eagle reporters were honored at the Montana Journalism Education Association’s annual writing contest, earning top honors for stories published in the January and March issues of the Sun Journal.

As part of The University of Montana’s Journalism Day celebration, the Big Sky staff squared off against five other AA publications: Sentinel’s Konah, The Hellgate Lance, Charles M. Russell’s The Stampede, the Bozeman Hawk Tawk, and Glacier’s The Howl, and The Flathead Arrow.
