Senior Signings: Eagles Take Their Skills to the NCAA

Four Eagle Seniors signed on for college athletics in May. Check out their stories!

Makenna Edwards

Makenna Edwards received an athletic scholarship for her incredible cross country skills from Gonzaga University. Edwards looks forward to being a part of Gonzaga’s cross country and track program. Although she is more excited to run cross country. She will major in pre-med and bio chemistry.

Maddie Edwards

Maddie Edwards will major in behavioral sciences at the Air Force Academy in Colorado in the fall. Receiving an athletic scholarship from there was a dream come true for Edwards, as she wants to serve her country while still getting an education. When asked about what she is most excited for she stated “I want to learn to fly and jump out of planes. Just do cool things most people don’t get to do.”

 Katie Rolle

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s volleyball team will be welcoming Katie Rolle next fall to their Daytona Beach campus in Florida. Rolle was offered an athletic scholarship based on her versatile volleyball skills. “The school has a really good engineering program and I’m looking forward to play in a competitive program.”

Dayton Evans

Dayton Evans will be attending University of Providence in his hometown of Great Falls, MT. He is excited to go back to Great Falls to be with his family and friends. “I’ve always wanted to continue wrestling into college and now I’ve been given the opportunity to wrestle with old friends and my older cousin”. Off the wrestling mat Evans will major in natural resources and wildlife biology.
