The season for the boys has been for as had its fair share of ups and downs. The team now sits in the midst of the western AA as far as rankings go, however, the boys have struggled to get up in the standings. The team currently sits with a 1-8 record. However, the team has seen a lot of close games with both Kalispell schools as well as CMR and Butte.

The starting line up is made up of guard Dan Morin, forward Camdyn Larance, Center Everett Fred, Forward Brady Tabish and yours truly guard Andrew Gardanier. The team has played a small ball style offense with much guard pay under head coach Cory Sova’s first year. The defense has seen many different fronts however with much work to catch other teams off guard. We’ve have played mainly a two-three and man but combine it with ball pressure on the two-two-one press.

The team is led in scoring by Larance with 18.8 points per game. The rebounding leader is Brady Tabish with 42 on the season thus far.

Good news for the team is that this year is a good year to be in the AA western conference. It’s really anybody’s year and the team could be poised to make a run at divisionals with some key upcoming games. Keep Big Sky on your radar for a possible contender at divisionals coming up.
